Identifying Engine
Where is the engine block number and how do you decode it to know what size motor you have. I have a 454 I'm getting ready to drop in my 67 and I'm trying to sell the running small-block out of it right now. I was told it was a 350 by the guy I bought it from, I just don't want to advertise it as a 350 when it might actually be something else.
Just out of curiousity, I wouldn't mind running the numbers on the BB too. How bad would that suck if both motors didn't turn out to be what they were said to be. We'll see Thanks

Re: Identifying Engine
Passenger side, right at the edge of the head, behind the water pump. Cross the number at Mortec.com Jeff.

Re: Identifying Engine
You can take the number off the back of the block by the dizzy and run it
