electric choke & gas gauge?

does anybody know how hard it is to convert a eletric choke to manual choke is there a kit? have not had very good luck with my eletric choke on my demon any help in the right direction would be great thanks a bunch in advance. also i did a blazer tank install on my truck a while back and i drove around for about a month without putting any gas in the tank [was still running off tank in cab untill i ran new fuel line] is it possible that my float on my sending unit got stuck in the empty position with all the bouncing around with no gas in it because the gauge is stuck on 1/8 of a tank and im pretty sure the gauge is working because when i disconnect the wire the gauge moves help im tired of keeping track of milage to know how much gas i have thanks again for any help john

There is something to do with ohms and your sending unit matching your gauge and everything. Hope I didn't confuse you more. I know someone else on here can tell more about it.

Are you sure you have the right sendin unit in the blazer tank? There are two that I know of 30 ohm for 63-66 and thee 90 ohm 67-72 . If you have the right sending unit, then your resistor on the back of the fuel gauge is probably worn out.

There is no reason you could not get the choke to work. It's just time setting it one click at a time. Call Bary Grant and tell them what your problems are with the choke they have a great tec line.
