Ive looked through the "wheel and tire fit" thread and cant seem to find an answer. Im trying to fit some wideXhuge tires in the back. Done all my measurements with a set of 15x10 wheels with 4 1/2 inches of backspacing... Found out that what I need is 5 1/2 inches of backspacing to get the clearance I need. According to my measurements the tire(at widest point) will be just flush with the outside of the bed and still has a little clearance on the inside(1/4 inch or so).

Just wanted to know if anyone has ran these tires in there rig, and if so, are you having any rubbing issues.
I have a 2 inch spring drop in the back.

I don't run those tires, but I do have 15x10s with 4.5" backspacing. I have 275/60/15s on em and a 3" spring drop front and back. I've never even come close to hitting the tires. Even loaded or out in the field. (yes it still gets used as a truck)

The 4.5" backspacing puts my tires flush with the outside of the truck. However when I switched to discs in front, the disc front end is wider then the drums and moved the tires outside the fenders. I'm not sure if I have the earlier narrow rear end or the wider 70 up rear either. The 5.5 backspacing may be a better fit with the 70 up wider rear and discs.

Have 15x10's 265x70x15's on the rear corvette truck ralleys--stock 67 6 lug. I have no drop --run a 1/4" spacer on the 4.5" backspacing. Fits inside the bed --perfect both sides.

I am going to try one on the front--figure wit will be about an inch outside the body. But if not cool. Rear definitely has less flex in sidewalls.

I have a set of 15x7 and 15x10 chrome rallyes for my 69 C10.
Have not put them on because there 5 lug. I heard the 4x4 rallyes off a mid 70's truck has six lugs, cant find them.
As far as back spacing, I think mine are 5 inches, but probably going to sell them.

I have a set of 15X10's with 5 inch backspacing. I have a 345/55 drag radial which is basically a 30X13.5. I have a 4 inch drop spring and 2 inch block and don't rub.

Ratrod, think you can get me a picture from the side, along the bed line...and one from the back, down low? Do they stick out? What are you running up front? I have 15x8s, but took measurements for 15x7s. I dont wanna mess up the line from the front/back. IE fronts sticking out further than the back, or visaversa. Wanna keep them in line as much as possible.
Once I get it all settled im gonna be selling the set I have now. I know i cant post it here, but I will be bringing them to Bakersfield GoodGuys March meet next weekend.

Here's a couple pics. These are the only ones I have right now. I need to get better ones taken. I have 15X7's in front with 235/60's. They are lined up with the back. I'm picky about that too.

Sorry about that. Yes, the fronts are 3 1/2 backspacing.
