Re: New To Site Feel Like A Virgin
I have a C10 with a 10 bolt and was told that it has a 3.42. Not sure of the difference between the C10 and C20.

Re: New To Site Feel Like A Virgin
that is wrong, the best you could get stock was a 4.10. You should have the HO52, the 72 was only in one ton trucks.
Find a 3/4 ton or a one ton with the same rear as you have, and if it is an automatic and small block, then it'll most likely have the 4.10 gear there. |

Re: New To Site Feel Like A Virgin
You can get a 3.08 gear set but you will have to change your carrier and have the gears set up by a shop unless you have the knowledge and tools to do so urself?? I have a 68 10blolt with 3.08 gears a t10 4speed and 28" tires and it will cruise at 2600 to 2700 at 65mph good mileage. just a little slow out of the hole. just need more HP. If your willing to change your carrier you can go with 3.42 or 3.08 if you want. It will just cost a little more>>
