Hates murphys law

How depressing. I just put my headers on, run 2.5 inch dual exhuast back, get new springs, shackles, bushings, alignment, new front brake calipers, ujoints throughout, repack front bearings etc etc... Blew a rear brake line driving it today. I am going to have to shoot my nissan to vent.

I feel the same way. My radio was broke in my truck for months, I finally fix it a few weeks ago. My radiator has been cracked and leaking for weeks. I just replaced the radiator and flushed the system yesterday and it worked great. On the way to work today, my radio quits for no reason. Guess it was too good to be true

Re: Hates murphys law

Thats not so bad. When I bought my first truck as a newbie, found out it needed a radiator support. Installed that, cleaned up the truck and got everything working and compliant for the DMV safety inspection. It blew a front brake hose in the DMV garage during the brake test! Pee'd brake fluid all over the floor. I had to have it towed home from the DMV parking lot.

Re: Hates murphys law

It happens to us all. I was taking my kids to daycare yesterday morning. I was sitting at a stop light when I get this strong burning electrical smell. I pop the hood and find my alternator harness about burned in half. I run it home on battery power and as I'm fixing that problem I notice my water pump is leaking. Not a way I like to spend an unscheduled day off. Everything is fixed and back to somewhat normal.

Ah, the joys of classic truck ownership.

At least you guys are getting to drive your trucks. Many on here, myself included have trucks totally dissasembled working and waiting working and waiting for sometime in the distant future when we can again drive our classic chevy trucks.
