swappin out the four speed

Does anyone know if a turbo 400 will bolt into the crossmember of an original 4-speed manual truck? The truck is a 68 C20 with a 400 small block and a 4-speed. If not what mods do I need to maek in order for it to bolt up? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: swappin out the four speed

No it won't bolt right in, you'll need to remove the current 4spd frame mounts and use either a original auto transmission crossmember or purchase one of the improved replacement auto crossmember. We carry the replacement here if interested

part#653253
Get another 9 people interested in that crossmember and we will do a board special group buy where I sell them for $100.00ea+shipping instead of normal price of $124.95ea+shipping.
