distributor and header questions

I am building a temp motor to go in my blazer...it is a 79' 305..i have adapted TBI and intake from a 91 blazer. the body and wiring are from an 88 blazer. i want to know what kind if any distributor will go right in place that i could possibly reuse when or if i build the 350 i really want. i went to MSD and accel sites and all i got were part numbers with no description. someone please help me!!!!!

I also want to put headers on it that can be reused in the same fasion. what type of coating is the best available to keep heat in the engine compartment down without killing my pocketbook. Thank you all in advance!!!!!!

Re: distributor and header questions

You might try the engine and drivetrain section or the general 73-87 section. Thats where I get most my info for things like this. Sorry I can't help.
