Fuel Gauge
My fuel gauge just stopped working. My dad and i took off the dash to put in a temperature gauge and now it doesn't work.

Could be a bad ground. Is the needle way past full?

No it was for a while but we fixed that. It's stuck just a little past half.

Probably not getting power. Check the plug where it goes into the circuit board, the contact may be seperating and sticking out instead of being tucked in. Also look for corrosion.
To figure which one goes to the guage, just follow the copper trail in the circuit board to the blug. This is what mine was doing for a while, and that was the solution. |
