Some people on the forum have made similar items for their truck. I've seen a few pics. I think I might have em on my work computer.

I would love to have a set in mirrored stainless. They look like they would be easy to make.

I don't think they will fit the 69-72 since they switched to the more upright hood design.

I BOUGHT A SET. THEY LOOK PRETTY GOOD. THEY COST ME $80 DELIVERED. I THINK THAT IF SOMEONE HAD ACCESS TO A SHEAR, BAN SAW & SOME KIND OF BREAK TO BEND THE RADIUS, A PERSON COULD MAKE THESE EASY ENOUGH. I'M CONSIDERING POLISHING & POWDERCOATING THEM BLACK, TO KINDA MATCH MY RAD. SUPPORT. I THOUGHT IT MIGHT HELP WITH AIR FLOW THRU THE RADIATOR, WITH THESE CAPPING OFF THE TOP, & AN OEM GRAVEL GUARD ON THE BOTTOM OF THE RAD. SUPPORT. IF NOT ... OH-WELL... IT'LL LOOK COOL.

Hi Jim... This Is For My 71 Short Fleet 2wd Project. It Has A 68 Front Clip On It. Theres Probably $20 Or $25 Worth Of Aluminum, & The Shipping Was Almost $15. They Charged About $40 Or $45 Labor, So It Doesn't Sound So Bad When You Break It Down. The More I Think About It, Powdercoating Black Seems Like The Way To Go.
