67 with a big block???

did 67s come with big blocks? i have a line on a 67 chev 3/4 with a 396 and a 4 speed for cheep,just wonderin if this motor could be original or not

68' was supposed to be 1st year but who knows it could be a late 67. Can youpost some pics of the motor mounts?

The Standard Catalog of Chevrolet Trucks has an extensive list of data, but doesn't have anything showing that the big block was part of the '67 product line for the commercial body, i.e., anything OTHER than the El Camino.

For '68, it states than only 1% of the '68 commercial trucks were sold new with the 396-2bbl engine. There was no listing for a 4-bbl version.

Great bargaining tool, but a big block with the correct era mounts and pump is worth $$$. So good luck
