Tach dash 4 sale

I have a high end driver V-8 tach dash 4 sale, it has been taken apart, cleaned and put back together and tested, all work great, tach works thru all rpms ranges . It is in really good condition, with all needles and temp hot mark refreshed, a polished lens that looks like glass, with new anti-rattle kit, and new 69-72 black and chrome bezel(Made in USA) but scuffed a little on the left side chrome and has one small spot where the black paint is scuffed near the chrome scuff that can be touch up with a perm marker (see pic). Speedo has been reset to zero the numbers look off in the pic of the speedo, but rest assured they are in line, bad angle of the pic,the printed circuit is perfect without anybreaks or hot spots, and it also comes with a used but very nice and uncut tach wiring harness. The backing plate is also nice with a VERY SMALL amount of surface rust on it, and I didn't think it needed to be blased and painted.$300 plus $15 s/h.

Re: Tach dash 4 sale

I didn't really restore this one, it was pretty nice to begin with . I got it from a fellow board member TEEITUP(thanks Randy ) Anyway I only spent about hour and a half total, just mainly cleaned and touched up, new bezel and bulbs and of course the beautiful lens. Lamar another board member polishes the lens up for me, I don't use a lot of used lenses and don't really have the time to do it and he has brought some pretty rough ones back to life it's really unbelievable once you see it before and after.
I'm not sure what he uses but Meguiars has some pretty good plastic cleaners and polishes that work well for your own driver or if you just want to do it your self...Randy

Re: Tach dash 4 sale

Randy I received the tach dash today. I opened the box and said WOW. Drooled for about 5 minutes. (OK maybe a half an hour) Decided its too damn nice and wrapped it back up. I definately need to do some dash and interior work on my truck before I put it in there. I want to let everyone know that Randy did a fantastic job on this tach dash and if anyone gets the opportunity to purchase a dash from him you will be very happy with his work. Thanks again Randy I feel really lucky that I was able to be the one to purchase this from you.

Re: Tach dash 4 sale

Glad you are happy with it I know what you mean about interior, most of the time my truck doesn't even have a dash just sitting empty waiting on the next beauty to come and hang out for a test run before selling Thanks again for the kind words and I hope you enjoy it Randy
