Talking Show off your caps!

Who is running stock hubcaps or perhaps a different hubcap on their 67-72 truck? After seeing how nice they can look I wonder who else is doing this. Show off your dog dish caps or your full covers. This is a ANTI bling-bling thread.. Just look how sweet this truck looks. I like it both ways but clean painted wheels and caps are nice and different!!

Same thing on 3/4t.They`re 9.75x16.5:

Here`s 8.25s w/the earlier type caps on a 2wd painted body color:

Here`s some car caps. They all fit 1/2t wheels:

Special K, Nice truck...are those the 9.75-in on the front too? What size tires? OOPS...read your captions but still wondering about the tire size...33 x 12.5 or 31 x 10.5?

I seem to always arrive way too early for cruise nights. Here is a pic shot from a guy who attends a lot of shows here.

Re: Show off your caps!

Bouncy---that Blazer is beautiful! 16" wheels? What's going on there? 8 lug? 3/4T axles? That's an impressive combination.

Re: Show off your caps!

Stock 16" 6 lug. My understanding is that they were swapped at the dealer.

Are those 15" wheels on that 3/4ton or small diameter tires?

I was looking for steel wheels that fit stock hub caps in 15X8 on Peterson wheel web site, Geeze they're going for $90 each then $35ea for powdercoat. The smoothie wheels are going for $60 but wont take our hubcaps. Anyone know where to get them cheaper?

Re: Show off your caps!

Here's mine...
I like the way the painted silver wheels and the stainless hubcaps on the 67-68 C-20s look. With the caps all polished and the paint stripped off it kinda looks like a truck version of a rally wheel.
I'd like to find a 16.5 trim ring to fit these wheels but the older 16.5 x 8.25 wheels have a sharp lip on the edges and none of the 16.5 trim rings will clip on correctly.
