Picked up a 68 clip from a board member
Met a cool guy Larry at the Pomona swap meet last Sunday. I was looking for the infamous 69-72 right fender (that I have been in search of for the last 3 months) and just happened to ask if he had a 68 clip...HE DID! I picked it up today and am a happy camper. One of the fenders had a little more damage than expected, but there was no rust on anything
I already stripped both fenders, welded in the chrome holes and knocked out some of the little dents. I'll more than likely throw some mud on 'em tomorrow and get them ready to prime on Monday. NOW, I will get rid of my 69 front end with my dentless OEM 69 grille. I so much like the 67-68 front ends better than the 69-70 or even the 71-72. Now this IS my dream truck, or at least when I finish it it will be . Mike |
