Has anyone had a problem with breaking off the rear cab mount bolts? What does the bolt screw into? If the bolt would break, how could I fix it. I'm afraid that I will break off the bolts when I try to remove them. Thanks for any help.

spray them with WD-40 or something a couple of times over a period of a day or to, then cross your fingers.

The rear cab mount bolt heads are under the fuel tank. Might be able to reach it without removing the tank, but since I was taking the cab off, I pulled the tank first.

there are 2 fixed nuts under the tank
usually the bolts loosen up without to much effort unless you have some bad rust issues in that area.
if you do have some bad rust in that imediate area you might want to move the gas tank out of the way and soak the threads
i just disasebled two very rusty trucks and i got em loose without much effort even though the shaft of the bolts were half rotted away.

ive broken front cab bolts before but never a problem in the rear

Thanks for the help. I did not know you could get to the nuts. I will be spraying them with PB Blaster this morning.
