Question 71Power Brake Booster support rod question

Can I use the 71-72 powerbrake booster without the support rod that runs down on the firewall? They are often hard to come buy in the bone yards. Has anyone done this or currently doing it?

Re: 71Power Brake Booster support rod question

Ive been running mine without either support and its fine. This is w/ a ground pounder 350. If you ask on the board you can find one. I just bought one off a member.

Check the link theres both for like $20 shipped availible.
