84 Chevy on Ebay?

I was chevy surfing on Ebay and came across this 84. I would like to know what you guys think of the pictures and vehicle discription of truck. This could be an interesting thread that just might help educated someone in search of a decent project truck. I feel the truck is a good start, but it is slightly misrepresented in the vehicle discription. |

I am not impressed overall to say the least. It also scares me when someone is selling a primered vehicle...

The guy sounds like a bit of a moron if you ask me, he is very proud of one big piece of S#!+. He will be lucky of bidding goes past $1000.

Let's see, regular headers and the exhaust pipes turn out before the rear wheels, really loud mufflers. That adds up to a $500 dollar exhaust system, at the most. The interior pieces are not that expensive. The dash is supposed to be covered in leather, it looks fairly stock and used to me. the billet dash inserts appear to be on the passenger side of the dash only and not on the instrument panel too. The seat is stock and covered with a Country seat cover. The steering wheel is pricey and the wheels are different which have tires that are good. The bedliner is about the price he quoted, so that is a good thing---did he hide any rust under it? The paint appears to be the "Satin" primer paint that a lot of people go for these days, OK for some, not me. I personally would not go high on the bidding for it, Maybe I should sell my son's truck.

 If it gets past $1K then he's a lucky guy. He needs to look at learning how to spell as well.

ha ha this guy seems a little out there. He is stating that his truck has a sysem that is worth more then i payed for my 1984 c10 No way. The front fenders look beat up and the front bumper looks tilted to me. I mean the truck is nice but not that great. I like mine alot more and i got a brand new 400 with headers and all the internals for less then that system

I have no idea where he gets the 2500 cost for the exhaust. He does have a Billy Boat double wall stainless tip that sells for about 85.00 but the rest is nothing special....:crazy"

 if thats the case, he's on crack/sellin crack i cant beleive its going for over $1,100 maybe the guy that did his 2500 dollar exhaust system is bidding on it, since he know's how "custom of a truck it is" by the way, dont ya'all just love those $80 hood scoops

No it's a shame to lie about the cost of exhaust just notch up the value of the truck. I seriously doubt that he paid $2500 for the exhaust. He did claim to put $6000 in the truck since December and I suppose $2500 of that $6000 was exhaust.
