aftermarket beds ??

i bought an 85 short bed at the wrecking yard still on the truck for 200. when they delivered it the lower edges in front of the wheelwells were folded under.the idiot said he loaded it himself. i think he used a forklift or? maybe dropped it,i dont know. how hard is this to fix? the bed has no rust. should i get bed sides from opg? this bed is going on a 75 cab. any problems there?

Re: aftermarket beds ??

Maybe the "Junkyard Guy" should give your money back and then you use it to get the bedsides fixed. That really "fine fellow" did not do you any favors. How bad are the edges rolled under? I would have had a long discussion on WTF, he was thinking when he loaded it.

Re: aftermarket beds ??

I'd tell him to take the bed back and either fix it or stick it! A good reduction in price might be a reasonable trade off. Do you have any pictures of the damage? It might not be too bad to fix.
