You may want to take a look at LS1tech.com's Hybrids & Conversions section. There's tons of information regarding Gen III swaps.

Re: Who has a Gen III 5.3 in a Blazer?

I ordered my walbro 255l this morning (from speedinc.com). I will be using an external pump and the stock regulator on the fuel rail.

I thought about that but they say those pumps don't last. I will probably go that route right now and maybe do a intank pump later.

There are a few people on ls1tech that have been running them for over two years with no problem, I just hope I am as lucky.

You going to use factory tank and just mount it close to the tank? I may try this. Thanks for the info.

Yes that is the plan. I have installed the tank or pump yet but i believie it should work fine. I plan on building a 427 in the next year maybe two (depending on how the l92 block turns out) so im not too worried about reliablity.

How long you think it will take to do this? Working on it a couple hours a day and on the weekends? I figured a couple of weeks to a month.

Re: Who has a Gen III 5.3 in a Blazer?

if you have all the parts you shouldnt have a problem getting it done i a month. My problem is I can only spend $200 on it a week so I have to buy one part at a time.
