Suppose the kit is worth messing with? 180 bucks isn't a bad deal, I don't think. I was considering the 2.5 kit for my truck, but not sure if I'd be better off to go to an exhaust shop.

Seeing that you have a 4X4... I think you'd PROBABLY be better off going to a shop. Isn't there a point where you have to go around the X-fer case or something?
Also, I wouldn't recomend this kit for anyone with coils either.

Re: Flowmaster U-fit duals

Well, what was left of my old exhaust had one pipe going through the t-case crossmember (gap between t-case and frame), and the other pipe curved out around the x-member, right underneath the frame. Boy that old exhaust was a mess though. My "custom" straight pipes are just as bad, but sound better.

Re: Flowmaster U-fit duals

i'm doing everything on my truck myself but when it comes to the exuast i think i'll take it to a shop and have it custom bent to fit up tight besides that the exuast guy used to own my truck years ago i think he was the one who shortened it i think he will like what i have done to what he started and never finished years ago
