That's a Highway 61 model Billla.Same company as the one I have. It's a bit more expensive but well worth the extra cash IMO.

Re: Post your truck model pics here.

So all these are die-cast right? I like the plastic kits that you have to build and paint yourself. Haven't been able to locate any of these trucks though.

Thumbs up Re: Post your truck model pics here.

HOTROD71- its about 50-50 from what i can see. they make these trucks in a LONG BED style in the model world but i dont like long beds that much so i modified mine. wish the camera took clearer shots close up cause this truck has rust holes, dents and all. and even though you cant see them very well those are real scale SUPER SWAMPER TIRES
bisquick - there is another thread already out there about this same thing but i cant find it. it had all my pics on that one. and alot of other good pics.

Guys, where are you finding these models? I would like to find a 67-68 and maybe a short stepside model. I have looked locally and have never found any of these. I would like to have a plastic one.

It started out as a stock longbed AMT kit. After it sitting on my desk for a few months I got the crazy idea to do a Longhorn. I used a spare bed and frame to stretch it 1/2 of an inch which is right at 6 inches in 1/25th scale...

The only way you can find a 67-68 or a step side is on Ebay. AMT has a 72 long fleet out right now and in another month or two they will be offering a 72 Blazer...

Here is some of mine. I have a few models to build whenever I find the time to get at them again. Most of my stuff right now is the diecast and Hot Wheels. Here is a few I have on the computer.
