WTB: Nice drivers door

What's a nice drivers door for my 70 GMC C10 going for? It needs all the trim holes & standard mirror holes. Mine has a large rust hole in the corner. Shipping to 29730, can Paypal. Greg

Good luck, we've been trying for two months now. The hard part is trying to get somebody to ship .

Re: WTB: Nice drivers door

D Terry still no doors? I have spring break in another week, diring this time I can help you out like I promised earlier. That's from 36 March thru 1 April. We can work it all out.
Greg, I can do the same for you there are plenty of good doors around here in the local yard, I would ship thru Grayhound (cheapest and easiest and they like doors). If no one cloose to you has one that is available, I can get it shipped to you around $125 or so, depends on how much I can haggle with the owner at the yard.

Re: WTB: Nice drivers door

I have a 67-71 driver's door that is straight, with original paint, no speaker hole, but has several extra mirror screw holes, and a few rust bubbles forming at the inner front corner. Other than that 2"x2" area, it's rust free. I can post pics monday if you are interested. $100 delivered to Charlotte in early May.

Re: WTB: Nice drivers door

gregbr, from what I've been finding for the last two months or so, HuggerCST's deal is great. I'd jump on it if I were you.

Re: WTB: Nice drivers door

I sold a pair of rust free dent free, original dark green, upper and lower trim, 1972 doors last year for $100. Now I own a dark green and white 1972 GMC with upper and lower trim with rust on the bottom corners of the drivers door. Now I can't find any reasonably priced rust free dent free 72 drivers doors around. Come to think about it I haven't seen any good 72 drivers doors locally.
It is all about timing I guess.

Re: WTB: Nice drivers door

Thanks HuggerCST, this may be picky, but I want rust free. I can repair the hole in mine, otherwise it's OK. Yours sounds a little better, but that rust is probably thru also. Greg

Re: WTB: Nice drivers door

Greg, we were looking for the same thing. But we are running out of time, it's holding up progress at this point. We were hoping to paint by now, and can't because we still need to fit everything together. I'm sure you'll find what your looking for, it's like greenhorn said - timing (WOW, a pair for $100!!! - you're a very nice guy)

Speaking of timing, and don't mean to hijack, but... HuggerCST, will you ship? If so, will you post the pics?
