Transmission Trouble
Well I started up the 81 I just bought to park it in my garage today to replace the booster and master cylinder. After I started it up, I put it in reverse then nothing. I gave it some gas, nothing. I put it in drive, nothing. I let it warm up for a few minutes and then put it back into reverse and the it went backwards, then drive and it went forwards. When I backed it off of the trailer the other day and drove it, the truck shifted good. What could be the problem? Is my transmission cooked? It is a TH350C.

Re: Transmission Trouble
modulator maybe. in the cold mine won't go in to drive until it has a little heat in it and give it some gas.
Several accidental gravel-sprays have occured, though.
