does anybody know what is the largest diameter you can fit with a 69 laying rockers? wheel wells gone, and tubing firwall is not a prob.... My plans are to bag and z my frame in the future.. but for now I want to get my wheels first to tide me over till I can afford it.... Thinking of going 22's but debating 24's

Its just my opinion but I think 24s look too big on these trucks. 20s or 22s look good or even a 20/22 combo. You really need to be more concerned with overall tire diameter than the size of the wheel itself.

I'm not sure if you can lay body in the front with a 24'. You better be running an extremely small tire, or you will be to tall for the front fender. I plan on running 22's all the way around, that is already getting to be alot of work. Good Luck!

I'm speculating that a 30" tire would be just about it. I've got 27" tires and only have a small amount of sheetmetal left on the fender cutout.

If you're BD to the rocker a 24 will stick out above the bed. I'm using a 285/35-22 and it's about 3/4" from the top of the bed.

They make these 275/25/24 tires, thats a tad bit smaller than those 285/35/22...but that might be cutting it a little colse on the ol bend a rim crap...lol

i dont like the look of a truck sectioned or a truck that lays door.....it looks cool layed out, but up at driving height I dont like how the body looks......i like a nice stock looking truck body, just plain layed out

lol, you have those smoothies on yet? i was looking at the Centerlines, the prices are pretty nice.....just not sure if i want to do chrome, or get the polished and powder coat em like the old ralleys

I'm running 22x10's all the way around and they are 6.5bs. They just miss the side of the bed and the truck is BD.
