Re: 72 GMC 3/4T 4X4 Parting-WA
I am looking for GMC parklamp buckets that go on the grill. I have new lenses but they still don't make repop's yet on the buckets. If you have them, how much and what would shipping be to Idaho (83617)? Also are the eyebrow moldings around the grill in any kind of shape??

Re: 72 GMC 3/4T 4X4 Parting-WA
Dave: This is a 4X4 so it is leaf. No posi. Probably 4:10 but have not picked the truck up yet.
JC: I will check the eyebrows, but don't hold out any hope. Rough truck. I should have your GMC park housings in my used inventory...$20 pr and $10 to box & ship. NOTE: The bottom/big section of the grill looked real nice. |

Re: 72 GMC 3/4T 4X4 Parting-WA
Any frame parts that are salvageable? I'm looking for rear spring hangers and the cross member that mounts between the forward spring hagers on the rear axle.

Re: 72 GMC 3/4T 4X4 Parting-WA
If it has it, I can use a heat stove, tube, and long dipstick with tube. That is if you are willing to seperate from the engine.
Thanks

Re: 72 GMC 3/4T 4X4 Parting-WA
JC: The eyebrows are real nice! I will send you both the eyebrows and the Park light housings for $60.
No engine parts... No frame parts...Check with Livrat, sounds like he has one down to the frame. |

Re: 72 GMC 3/4T 4X4 Parting-WA
67sss: I will check and let you know.
Diffs are 4:10. That's a pretty nice grill. Straight. Lower section has good chrome. Top bar is straight but rusty---good for rechrome...$200 + shipping. Doors and blue dlx door panels are good. I drove it and it runs good, shifts good, 205 shifts into all positions smoothly and all driveshafts are there and hooked up. It is still ugly!!! Last edited by PICKMUP; 03-25-2006 at 01:30 AM. |

If I brought the beer and the funny stories, and watched you pull the 350 engine, would it still cost me $500 bucks?

I am interested in the frame. Can you post some pics once the tin is off?

Re: 72 GMC 3/4T 4X4 Parting-WA
hvyK: The body is not coming off the frame...But, if someone buys the pair of diffs for $600, they can have the frame with title & cab/vin tag.
Bob: The beer sounds good, but me pulling anything doesn't. |

Re: 72 GMC 3/4T 4X4 Parting-WA
I just rolled around under the truck with a light and the frame looks great! I do not see any rust/pitting and no cracks around the steering box. The 205 TC looks exceptionally clean and nice. Again, no rust.
The hubs, with blue spicer locks, lock & unlock smoothly. It looks like factory over load springs on the rearend. Engine does runs nice...no smoke...no misses. ...and it is still ugly!!! |
