Radio relocation

I didn't want to hack up the dash in the new cab, so here's what I did, it mounts to the screws for the heater controls and I added a couple self tapping sheet metal screws to prevent unwanted rattles. all it is is a 4" piece of alluminum trim from a screen door. It's about 1/8" thick and is channel.

yeah, it would be easy to steal, but your right, i'm not worried about it because of where I live, and the fact that it's a $80 pioneer head unit that sounds like crap.

Plus, since it is easy to steal, the thief wouldn't need to rip a big hole in the dash. Lot easier just to buy a new deck than to repair a dash.

Slick set up. I'm putting a MP3 player with remote in the glove box. AM or maybe AM-FM in the dash for original looks.
