TBI fuel regulator problem
On my 87, I'm trying to replace the rubber diaphragm in the fuel regulator. Every time I try to compress the spring and cup down it causes the rubber edges on one side to deform and it won't seal right. Fuel shooting out of the regulator is not fun!
Any tricks on how to get the cup squeezed down without distorting the rubber seal? Thanks btw, I usually post on 73-87 board, but I figured most of the TBI topics would be here. I've already have a post started at 3rd gen's TBI board also. Thanks.

Re: TBI fuel regulator problem
I got the leak taken care of. Now I have another problem. I think I messed up my IAC while I was cleaning the TBI with carb cleaner. I sprayed a bunch up at the needle part of the IAC. I didn't realize until searching around about TBI's that this would eff the IAC up pretty easily. How do I change one out? Just disconnect and unscrew it, then screw a new on in?
