Throttle cable question.
I just replaced the carb (carter AFB 600) on my 72K5. The PO drilled a hole in the old carb's linkage and just fed the cable through the hole, then zip tied the end so his knot wouldnt come un done. I want to install either lokars 24'' kit or one of the universal ones that are all over ebay. Any one out there used one of these kits? Anyone have pics? Thanks.

Re: Throttle cable question.
I used the Lokar 24" and shortened it to where I needed it. It's a nice cable and it comes with the quick dissconnect linkage on the carb couldn't be happier.

Lokar has very nice stuff but the only difference between it and factory stuff in the $$ and s.s. braided cover?? Link below is a great place to get lokar stuff...
