Heater control panel
Where's the light or is there not one? I dug around and couldn't even find a socket for a light on the heater controls??? I'll pop it out and check a little later today. If I should have to replace just a bulb somewhere or an assembly, where and what do I look for?....BTW, in case I've lost my mind, don't give it back to me if anyone should find it...I might hurt myself

If memory serves right,.......it plugs behind the section where the settings are written. It is a raised, almost triangular box.

There are two on A/C controls, one on either side. I'm not sure on non-A/C, but I only have one light on my harness for the Blazer, so I'm guessing there's only one light on them. Anyone else know for sure? Pics!

Thanks Ya'll...it is a a/c heater control. I just got back from junkyard scavaging and I'll head on out in a bit and check it...I did feel two round holes near the outer edges backside of the faceplate but no lights...WRMZ71, I may take you up on that one weekend, if anything just as an excuse to scope out you project...Jason

on my '68 it is just behind the letters on the left-hand side. the wire snaps off really easy on it, as i found out. i just yanked all of my internals out and plan on selling or trading them and pulled all the wires. i can provide pics if you need them, shoot me a PM.

 p i c t u r e s...matt, thanks for the pics. I found both of em tucked behind wiring, more wiring and heater ducting. I gotta get some bulbs to see if one works cause right now, the other one aint....the wire sorta popped off when I tried to get some slack... shifty, I sent you a PM. Thanks for the help Ya'll

Well, I replaced the bulb on the intact one and no light...will try to find the wiring diagram. Any sugestions on what all to check? I think i found where they go back to the fusebox, they're so tucked up that I wasn't for sure

Not positive, but if the gray wire has a plug on the end, plug it into the panel lights post on the fuse box, turn on headlights and check light bulbs. If it no workie then, buy new bulbs. I just can't remember if the heater light lead had a plug on it. Jeff.

The heater light wire is tied into the dash harness with no plug. Just trace the gray wire from the loom.
