tranny question
This weekend I was at the junkyard with my son and saw a 1976 chevy van with a turbo hydramatic transmission option class M40. My question is would this fit in place of my turbo 400 short shaft in my 1969 c30 Longhorn
Thank you for any assistance. |

Re: tranny question
not sure what a M40 option is, but if it is physically the same size then the answer is yes it will fit. is it also a 400 tranny, if it is a 350 it'll still fit if it is physically the same length, but there may be u-joint and/or kick-down linkage issues.
