granny 4 speed to a V8??

will the bellhousing on my granny 4 speed thats on a 250 I6 bolt up to a v8 or do i need a new one. Ive tried lookin for info on it, but I only find mountin up th350's and th400's.

Its in a 69 c10 if that matters at all thanks.

Yes, inline 6 engines use the same bellhousing bolt pattern as small and big block V8's. No mods needed at all.

mine is a 350 bolted right up to the stock (I6) tranny...four speed with granny first. question really should be... how much V8/ponies will thost I6 trannies hold up to?

It will be either an SM420 or and SM465. Either was was available behind V8 engines too, so trans strength shouldn't be a worry.
