Re: Anybody have saddle int with orange ext?

Although mine is no where NEAR finished, I am headed that way. I plan to have darker inserts sewn into the seat centers and door panels to tie in the saddle dash pad and arm rests.

Re: Anybody have saddle int with orange ext?

That is actually only my sealer so there is no real code. Just something I had mixed. I will be going with the burnt orange that is on some F-0-R-D F-350s, some Hondas, and some Mazdas.
I just wanted to have an orange undercoat to give me a visual aide before I started.

Re: Anybody have saddle int with orange ext?

I'm driving 'er home today after work (been located at someone else's house while we did the cab swap), so I can finish out the interior. Gotta install the dynamat and dynapad, then the new carpet.
I will get to the bed work later.

And I LOVE the adjustable seatbelts. No more rub-marks on my neck!

Re: Anybody have saddle int with orange ext?

I got it home yesterday....well ....last night. My BRAND NEW battery, with a manufacturer sticker showing it was made 03/2006 would not start my truck. I had to boost the thing off.
After driving it 5 or so miles home, it still won't turn over and is only showing 10 volts on the meter....has almost 15 volts while running, so the alt. is charging.

Anyway, I will make more interior progress quick enough!

Re: Anybody have saddle int with orange ext?

This is the old saddle with orange combination. Probably not what you wanted, but gives you an idea.

On second thought, cant get it to the size the board wants. Got it down to KB size, but then it wants it down to a 640x0 size; can someone tell me how that is done.

I am not sure what the interior color is but this may give you an idea. Exterior is more of the orange/red.

The nice thing about tinting a primer like you did similar to the paint is when you get nicks they are not as noticable like typical primer colors would be.. My buddy did his Hugger Orange Nova that way last summer.

Re: Anybody have saddle int with orange ext?

My painter tints his primer, great idea!
Hook,em has it.That`s saddle.I`m doing my CheyenneSuper with a saddle interior insted of Parchment. It`s red-orange & white.I`m only leaving the top white to compliment the 9.75x16.5s.The saddle looks great with the woodgrain.(and, mine`s got the wood bed floor)

Re: Anybody have saddle int with orange ext?

no I have'nt seen an orange truck with a saddle interior, but my 69 cst has a burgundy red interior with orange exterior and a white top. the pics I've seen here show the saddle looking real fine! maybe some of the folks that sent in pictures of saddle can do the same by showig some with my color combo.

Re: Anybody have saddle int with orange ext?

I like the tan interior. Black is nice but is hot, white interiors don't age as well and Im not a fan of red interior with orange exterior. I came across a 71 parts truck with orange cab, white top, tan interior.

Re: Anybody have saddle int with orange ext?

Not close to being finished, but I have the carpet laid in it (not installed) but I am going with a tan/saddle color for my interior. I go pick up my factory tach tomorrow from Brothers so at least I can finish up the instrument cluster
