another fine 50th anniversery 68
some of you may object to it's power train but it's still a nice truck. I need to find some of these west coast mirrors. One of mine has rusted at the bottom elbow.(hint, hint)
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1 I'm really getting to where I like the look of a stock truck in nice shape. |

Pioneer Man? YOu must mean Pioneer Woman, that statue made back in the 20's. That area is my old bike riding stomping grounds. http://www.poncacity.com/attractions/pioneer_woman.htm I've been working down in Laredo TX since January so haven't been back there much of this year. I'm starting to know what my brother felt like being in the military and wanting to work on his beloved suzuki samurais while overseas. I plan on getting a truck together for our local cruise in June when I get back in May. I've been trying to get a hold of this all stock 68 short stepper that is sitting here in Laredo behind a fence and it doesn't even have rusted rockers. No rust down here in laredo but latino's don't get up there chevy's easy either. |

What did you mean, agree with the drivetrain?I though it was going to have an Edsal motor or something. Here`s the one my neighbor sold w/o telling me that I posted awhile back.I didn`t mention before, but I know why he didn`t want me to have it.A few said, maybe he didn`t want to have to look at it sitting at his neighbors.(it was mutually agreed,I didn`t really have the $7,500 and couldn`t be tempted)Well, that`s why I wanted it back.I had to look at it in his driveway for five years. When I found out it was sold,I wished I hadn`t told him to not tell me:

SpecialK, that is one nice 50th. To think you let it get away. That is a lot of money but compaired to what Chevy's cost today it is not. These will turn heads much more than a new one would.

Re: another fine 50th anniversery 68
I sold/traded that truck to him for $6,000 and the`72 SWB I have now.It wasn`t a "true 50th".I painted it (was white) and had it upholstered white & gold as close to the 50th as I could. So,it`s a "clone 50th".
