I was wondering if anyone knew of a vehicle transporting company that had good prices. I bought a 1967 c10 shotbox fleetside and need to get it home. I need to get it from Caldwell, Idaho 83607, then ship to Benson, MN 56215. The truck is all there minus engine and transmission. I got a quote for $1,200, but I was thinking this is a little too much! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know of any shipping companies, but $1200 does not sound that bad considering it's a 2700 mile round trip. As I am a student and frequently have a three or four day weekend, I would be willing to go out and tow it back for you for $1000. PM me if you're interested.

I paid $1600 for "GQ" and in was drivable, but since she's in primer,
had no front clip on her, and no windsheild I paid for a ENCLOSED
trailer, was offered as low as $800 for a open trailer, also you may
want to consider this site below, I have never used it, just heard
other here mention it in the past so I saved it, I have heard it can
be very cheap, but it may take a while to get to you after pick-up.

If I was you I would go to www.uship.com and post it there. From what I've seen the prices are usually more reasonable.

The high price is due to the truck not running. It is much more difficult to load and unload when the truck is not driveable, and that significantly drives up the price.

Did I miss a good deal on a 67 SWB in Caldwell?

The guy that just bought my suburban used DAS and I thought it was fairly cheap, but the burb was running.
