Manual Steering box rebuild questions
i got the manual box off the truck and cleaned up but it feels a little rough in the middle of the movement. There is no play but it feels rough. I was looking at some prices for parts and thought about taking it apart to have a look. First question is why is the gasket so much? Also is there any tips or tricks i should know about taking this apart? Finally should I take it apart?

Re: Manual Steering box rebuild questions
I've redone a few of them. There is no secret to it at all.
The GM manual has a real good explanation of dissasembly and reassembly.
