I have a '70 Long stepside bed for sale. Wood floor is gone but the bed is solid and pretty clean. It has the usual minor dings and whatnot but no rot.
Asking $375

contact Bill at Vintage Chevy Truck in fremont, ca. 510-651-5874, i'm not sure he will be able to help but he has a longhaul truck driver that hauls parts east once in a while. fremont isn't too far from san jose so if you could arrange to get it that far maybe bill can help, he's a friend of mine so mention my name if you want to.

I wish I could help you more but the only hauler I have is sitting dormant under that bed.

Hey Longstep70,Would you consider breaking that down to ship?The bulk factor will be reduced,parts could be sent seperate or in groups,if that saves shipping.I wouldn`t need the wood,divider strips,or hardware.That will cut weight.The sides could be one bundle,the cross pieces could be bundled between the front panel and tailgate,then the fenders.More hassle for you.It`s up to you.I would like to have it.

It looks like I may have found a couple different guys that could possibly bring my parts truck back towards the end of this month or early next month, so I may not be going myself. We can talk about options of strapping it to the back if yoyu have no other options.
