Re: Wiring Harness???

Most all of the vendors sell replacement engine harness'. They are $$$, but probably well worth it. They offer upgraded ones too for HEI and the like. The wiring diagrams are all in the FAQ section too, like Krue said.

Re: Wiring Harness???

1 - GMC forward lamp harness with or without side markes

2 - Engine harness for your particular motor

3 - Dual battery harness

4 - AC harness

Most of the vendors can supply these. Questions depend on your modifications. Internal regulator or external? HEI or points? Gauges or lamps? I believe the AC harness does not involve the front clip as such - coming through the firewall on the passenger side near the heater core, running to the squirrel cage and last to the compressor. The dual battery harness will probably be the hardest to find unless you already have the relay etc. I modified a mid80 dual battery harness-relay to fit with an internally regulated alternator set-up.

Ask plenty of questions before purchasing. Remove and install one segment at a time.

Good luck - Bob
