Like the title says, how long has that truck sat around and not really doing anything to it? I've had my 67 4x4 since 1999. I've bought a lot of parts for it including a cab and bed. Swapped running gear from a late 70's Blazer but haven't done anything to it for a quite a while. After I bought it I've redone a 66 Impala and bought a 87 shortbed 4x4. Go figure!!

Well my 71 has been sitting awhile awaiting me to take the engine/tranny out.
Drove my 69 in the yard a little today probably for the last time till it goes together.

i had a 63 nova ragtop that sat in my garage for about 4 months. every time i went out to the garage my wallet would start pulsing. i sold it before i even did anything to it

The 70 was under it's own power until October of 2005, although it had not (legally) been on the road since lte 2002. Maybe 2007?

The 67 C-10 has been sittin for a year in my yard gettin closer to being done though. Before I bought it a year ago it sat for another 5 in someones garage. Done more to it in the last two weeks then its seen in years. I will be on the road soon I hope.

My 70 K5 has been sitting for a little more than 3 years - as of Thursday night it is back on the burner.

Pulled the engine that evening and now it is at a engine guy's shop being torn apart.

I tried to get it going about a year and a half ago but my other project got moving again so this one has waited. Sure feels to get some progress on the K5 again!

my '71 has been sittin halfway finished since july, got the bed, outer and inner fenders, hood, cowl, frame and rear suspension, them ran into money trouble then got my '69 which turned into a longer ordeal than i thought. but hopefully ill be back on the '71 soon. chris.

Ny son's 72 sat with very little being done for about 5 years. In the last 2 months we have done alot. Hope to have it ready for paint in about 4 weeks. But that's going to be tough to manage. Check out the dust layer the first time we got it running.

On and off 7yrs. It has changed address three times since it has been down and I always seem to be working on other peoples stuff instead of my own. I will have it finished this year and then I will start the 70 2wd blazer. With what I will be doing to that I figure by the time the kids are out of the house it should be done. I guess I better get started and have some kids

The body is off now so I can finish up the frame and run all my lines.

I just dawned on me a couple of weeks ago that I posted the 'How to shorten a LWB frame' FAQ in OCTOBER 2004!!!!!! Since then, I have only done a few things, like the frenched antenna, progressed a little more on the shaved firewall, and the cab corners/rocker panels.

When I realized that it had been that long since I had shortened the frame, that kinda lit a fire under my butt. I need to get momma's Harley tins painted first, then all my spare time can be spent on the 68. I'm gonna try to paint the bike next weekend, then get started on the 68 again.

ITs been sitting for 2 months now. I do drive it about once a week though for about 15-25 miles. Just to keep its leg stretched

Right now I am waiting for a custom shop clear out some of his projects. So once he calls me it goes in for its rocker surgery.

*CheyenneSuper:Bought`91,went over,drove until`99.Been accumilating parts since truck was bought.Awaiting full-resto.(have most parts)
*Sierra:Bought`01,did interior,exhaust,still drive a little.Plan light resto/cosmetic.
*Highlander:Bought`04,new clutch,brakes,exhaust,f/e,rebuilt axles just to drive.Plan 1t axles,6" lift,35s this summer(Have all parts)I`m driving it.
*`72 C/10:Bought`03,drove until`04.In shop with hoist ready to pull I6/drop-in 350 since`05(1year).I plan to have it rollin`again this summer with 4/6 drop,Muncie M20,3.42posi,8x15"wheels/full wheel covers/narrow ww wide tires,SS454 tips,flat white/blue interior,and just drive...Budget rod.

69's been sitting for way too long. Cab and front end smoothed and primed, then started up the engine I bought and found it was hurt, bad. Right now the engine is half torn down. Very disgusted I just quit right there bout a year ago. I do plan to get back into it shortly though. I picked up a set of pistons last week in case I build this one. The truck has been torn down since around 97.

My '71 stepside has been off the road since '95, was gonna be a 2 year project. HA! I have the truck about ready to spray...hopefully in May/June, and would love to have it on the road by late Fall. I promised myself I would have it ready to roll by my 50th birthday. Well, I turn 51 in Jan.LOL

Well, I hate to admit this but my RestoRod 67 was officially disassembled during the summer of 1992. Yep.... 92. It has had work done here & there (enough to drain the bank account to zero

) and I've been doing the whole re-engineering thing which adds to the dilemma. It's been moved 4 times; sat patiently through a divorce; was buried under debris @ the last house (GF's), & now is @ our 'new' house. I'm currently working on reaching a financial goal which was zapped a little w/getting the current house but I'm always thinking of what it will be when it's finished. I'm actually thinking about having the professional large scale 'sketches' done for motivation (to get others as enthusiastic about it as me).

My Beater 68 has been down since July 2005 (it died moving stuff to the current house). Between tranny & shifter issues (I lost 2 trannys in a year), I killed the clutch so I made the decision to do the V8/automatic swap. It was supposed to be a simple swap but I can't seem to do 'simple'. It amazing how good the motor looked in its previous home (N2TRUX's Black 77) but once I had it in my garage some clean-up was in order & things spiraled from there.

My current goals are:
1) Get the 68 wrapped up & returned to daily driver status
2) Get my 'new' frame for the RestoRod over to the shop & finalize the suspension
3) Start re-assembly of the RestoRod while working on 'various' other projects
