rear end question

is it possible to convert a Dana 60 Leaf rear end to a coil spring rear end for a 3/4 ton. I think it is but is it a nightmare and can you buy the brackets and so forth or do you cut them off your old one or make them. Thanks

Re: rear end question

You can cut & weld the brackets, but you still will be missing the built in stud for the track bar that is unique to a coil truck. What gear ratio do you want?

Re: rear end question

My suggestion is to find a truck with what you are lookin for, do a direct swap of the rear end from axel to axel and then sell off the rest of the other truck for parts money. this is the easiest way to do any sort of swap
IMO
