FOR SALE '70 short fleetside bed and tailgate and steel rollpan installed..with bedliner. alot of bodywork done on bedsides. rollpan is welded in and looks good..floor is rusty and should be replaced.asking 350.00 Bed is located 15 miles south of Richmond,Va at my buddys bodyshop and is forsale locally so If you are SERIOUSLY interested let me know so I can tell him I have someone interested in it so he doesnt sell it to someone else.

What do you mean,"alot of bodywork on the sides?"Do you mean they`re fully prepped,ready for paint?They were really rough or rusted and full of bondo?Wheel arch rust repaired using patch panels(alot of work)?...

Yes There is filler in the panels The wheel wells were pitted and needed to be filled and any waves in the sheet metal were glazed over. If you can find 36 year old metal that doesnt have glaze of filler in it you should buy it quick. Yeah I may sell the gate separate..which is in great shape..Make me an offer.

Meaning about 90% of bodywork to an original 36 year old bed was done..repair work done with fiberglass to wheelarches. But with a new roll pan and an almost perfect tailgate I think 350.00 is a good deal..If you want a brand bew bed Goodmark should have one for you.

What`s with the attitude?I WAS interested.Just asked you to clarify.I don`t need a lesson on "how to buy 36 year old sheetmetal".Not to hurt your sale,but you keep bringing it up,there are plenty of bedsides that don`t have rusted wheel arches and plenty of sheetmetal that has never had a dent.I thought the price was fair,that`s why I WAS interested.

You have had two or three people interested in the bed you have for sale, and have yet posted a resopnce to them. Any replies you have posted have come across with an attitude.
also I don't see a need for smart remarks from others that have nothing to do with the sale. If someone has a problem with a thread then please report it to the andmin.
