Just curious if anyone knows anything about this conversion kit? I have a 70's 454 with A/C, and power steering and short water pump. I would love to be able to use this conversion. But I wonder if it's viable or just EBay snake oil...

Just go to your local GM parts place and order the brackets for a 97 3/4-1ton 454 truck and they bolt on and a serp set up that will work as opposed to maybe working! You'll need the accesories from that same year 97 BBC, alt, water pump (reverse flow) etc. You may not want to go there as you have most of your stuff, but I started blank with nothing so it is an alternative.

Summit sells a kit (cheaper that Mr. Goodwrench). Their # NAL-12498741. I suspect Jeg's has it too.
