Re: WTB: transfercase knob

I have a pretty dang good one up at school. I'll probably ask $30 plus the ride for, it is in better shape than most I have seen for $20-25. I ll snag a pic for you. I am heading home for Easter today so it will be next week before I can get it shipped though. Trevor

Re: WTB: transfercase knob

Thanks for the pic and offer, I think I will pass. My budget can't absorb that for knob. My smooth one might have to work.

thanks.

Anyone else with one can PM me with it. I am looking to pay around $10+ship.

Did You Paint The Knob, Or Is It Original? If Its Original Let Me Know? Will You Take $25 Shipped?

Re: WTB: transfercase knob

The knob is in real good shape... I touched up the white pattern with some white paint.... the black is still shiny, I tried to polish it up as best as I could with what I had up at school.

Re: WTB: transfercase knob

Cheyenne 10- Try Randy (teeitup) he has a box full of shifter knobs.... I know they aren't the original shifter knobs for our trucks... but he has a number of ones that are off of 205's .... . they have the correct shift patterns.... Hope that helps. 4x4GMC1972 you have mail.....

Re: WTB: transfercase knob

Maybe I messed up!! I picked up the one for my dads truck a couple years ago for $5. Maybe it has to do with volume of 4x4s in an area, quiet a few in NW but I still don't have one yet for this truck

Re: WTB: transfercase knob

If your knob doesn't have markings on it then you should have a sticker on glove box or sunvisor. My 1970 has a smooth knob with no markings I bought a nice one with the markings for it just like the one on my 71. It doesn't fit different size threads. Suprise! I would hav thought they all would have been the same

Re: WTB: transfercase knob

Hey Bob, there's always our friend in Lone Oak, Texas. He's got one on ebay right now. Of course, when you get it, it will either be chromed or primered.

Re: WTB: transfercase knob

No thanks. I like to use board members when possible or local swap meets. I guess I missed on this one according to everyone.

I will find one this spring/summer with a little searching. Right now shifter and T-case sitting on shop floor!!
