Re: What are you doing this weekend?
I'm Celebrating!!!! The Mrs. came home feeling a little under the weather last night. That got me out of "Watching Frenchmen in tights".
She had gotten an offer for us to go to see Cirque De Soliel.I spent a couple hours this afternoon looking for wrecking yards(no luck). And I plan on working in the garage and on the truck a bit tommorow.

Re: What are you doing this weekend?
Im converting the 3 on the tree (which i broke yesterday after it binded up) to a floor shift. The hole is cut and its mounted on the tranny. Just need to adjust linkage and positioning. Its gonna be a little hard to grip stuff after I ripped open my thumb on some rough aluminum at work this morning...

Re: What are you doing this weekend?
Between, my brother in-laws birthday BBQ, my daughters ballet/tap dance class and Easter sunday, I'll probably get a chance to watch some rain fall on my project.
Man it's frustrating

Re: What are you doing this weekend?
I got new plates and new tags for my truck today. I am pulling my bent and tired huge rear bumper and redneck mounting my new plate until I get my new bumper.
If it isn't raining too bad, I will pull my bent and busted grill and front bumper and get things ready for the newer grill. |

Re: What are you doing this weekend?
I am going to pick up my rusty GMC from winter storage tomorrow, hope no mice have made their way in there. Also, my 71 parts truck is no longer snow covered, and that means my storage space is gone. Time to part it out.

Re: What are you doing this weekend?
Got a little road trip to Bowling Green, Mo a little way north and west of St. Louis. I'm picking up a 1974 short fleet and spare parts. I've decided to expand the outdoor parts dept and get back to having a life. This time off from work due to injury has opened my eyes to a few things. I'll be leaving early but will check in when I get back. Later.

Re: What are you doing this weekend?
if all goes well, have to put the customers V65 back together. then im gonna go pickup a set of tires for the back (30x13.5x15), then if she calls me back im gonna get directions to a woman that was building a 72 blazer but found a complete truck after buying some new parts. she has a cowl hood, grille, bumper new in the shed. shes gonna make me a package deal. ill have to thro the old rims/tires back on the truck so i can cruise the highway but it will be worth it if she gives me a good enough package deal price.
then i have to primer it all before putting it on (atleast the hood will go on, the other parts will be stored till painted ) |
