I Will Give You $100 For It? I'm Sure It Might Be Worth More. Is It From A Van Or Its Original From Your Truck? Let Me Know!!!

Re: 72 tilt steering column?

not tryin to bid things up but the ones that are from the trucks and not converted go for around 150 to 250, and that's without the wheel

Re: 72 tilt steering column?

Sold a truck tilt in avg. condition to a board member last week for $160 .It was on the board for almost 15 minutes before it sold. I would have got a lot more on E-bay , but hate selling on E-bay . Board members pay promptly and deal in a fair manner. Can anyone say the same for all E-bay bidders ?

Re: 72 tilt steering column?

Here's the pic of the wheel and tilt column. What I really need is a tilt for my 4X4 and I hate to butcher this one up.

Re: 72 tilt steering column?

Why do yo need to butcher that for a 4x4? It should be the same column, unless your 4x4 is a manual tranny. It hard to find a floor shift true truck tilt column. They usually go for more than an auto tilt. I see the wheel has a few cracks.

Re: 72 tilt steering column?

Are you saying the steering wheel in the picture has NO cracks? Looks like several cracks. That's still a fair price for the column in the picture, if that's the one for sale.

Hey Ricks1971,
Did you ask your fellow board members what this tilt collumn was worth and then go list it on e-bay? I'm sure that if this listing is yours, then you haven't really broken any written rules on this board...no written ones...
But I'm sure a bunch of those guys who made offers and wanted to deal with you earlier might like to know...

Re: 72 tilt steering column?

That was not very cool IMO this board is very helpful if you need advise or even in a pinch for parts I have seen guys give them away, you have not done your self any good by doing that and things like that will come back to haunt you. If you were going to list it you should have posted on the board that you appeciated the offers but was going to try e-bay. Thats my 2 cents.
