Frame numbers

I have a later model frame under my 68 CHevy crewcab pickup and trying to figure out what the frame came from. It has the numbers C5B149548 on the right side of the frame by the front tire and the numbers 3500198551575 on the left side of the frame under the cab. Anybody have a clue? Thanks

Re: Frame numbers

The first thing that catches my attention is the second set of numbers. the 3500 the 1985 is the frame a 1985 1 ton? Other than that I'm stumped. The only other idea I have for you is start looking up the stamped in part numbers to find a range of years they fit. Once you have run those down then you get to choose what year it is!
