Look what followed me home....
Well....never say never....I did it again. Just couldn't pass this one up [yeah I know another dang 3/4 ton]. This one has been taken care of over the years. The rear axle greased, the brakes maintained, the hood glides up like you would believe. Course there's a bit of rust and I vacuumed out about a ton of dirt ['farm truck']. More on the whole story later...suffice to say I am happy to have found this 70 C-20 350/400!
I know the gas mileage will suck, but I really need a hauler and have missed the Buffalo's capacity ever since selling it. After these pics I cleaned up the floor by removing the mat and insulation...it was damp due to a leaky windshield. I got a bit of work to do on this one, but since I gave only 1400 for it, I'm ahead of the game on cash to fix her up. OK...I need a new bed first off [after I order the headers and mufflers]. The one I have now has wood slats...I think I wanna keep that theme goin and cover it with a rubber mat when haulin'. Feels good to be back with truck and outta the wife's ride....here's the pics I took today.... http://www.bowtiemadness.com/70C201stday.html Anyone have a wood LWB bed laying around [wood condition not important]??

Looks like a good ol truck to me.You have to buy one that will do the job you want it to do.
It's not the paint that makes these truck pretty BTW.

Re: Look what followed me home....
Great find. My 19 year old wants one now but since we moved from TX to VA its hard to find 'em without lots of rust and affordable.
Good job.

Re: Look what followed me home....
Cool! Hey I think there's a nice '68 LWB wood bed at the junkyard here, I'll check tomorrow when I haul my trailer out there.
