406 " sbc FOR SALE
I'm needing to get rid of the motor in my truck.
I bought it from my brother about 2 years ago, and he had put about 2000-2500 miles on it is all. -400 block bored .030 (all work done when it was rebuild, freeze plugs, cam bearings, etc. etc. etc.) -400 78cc Iron heads, larger exhaust valves, complete valve job (the heads have had a good amount of work done to them for a power adder application... -Crane cam (nitrous cam, can get more specs later) -GM cast crank checked over and polished during rebuild -reconditioned GM rods (again, when rebuild was done) -TRW forged pistons (8.2:1 compression with 78cc heads) -Holley Contender intake (zero miles on fresh ceramic coating) -billet chain cover (Cloyes True Roller) -aluminum roller tip rockers -Holley 600 cfm carb with vaccum secondaries and annular discharge squirters This motor is estimated at about 400-430 hp a the flywheel N/A, and the compression will allow for a bit of nitrous or some boost like I was planning on running. Will sell carb to pan with chrome valve covers for $3,000. Can get pics up also if interested. stevenfriesen@cox.net

Re: 406 " sbc FOR SALE
Was going to step up to something forged so that I could sling about 25 lbs. of boost at it. Decided to just run what I've got. 12 lbs. should still net me like 700 hp at the wheels so I'm not one to argue.... lol
