BB brake question

I'm putting the 396 in my blazer this weekend. Do I need the narrow brake booster off the other truck? I have a small block in it now and it has the larger booster. The motor is out of a 69 and going into a 72. Will this booster even work?

Re: BB brake question

I don't think you'll have a problem with the large booster, I have a 402 in my 68 with a large booster (converted to disc) and there is plenty of room

Re: BB brake question

I have a 72 LWB that I converted to a 402. It has the larger stock booster set up and there is plenty of room. Good luck
