Need front disc pics
We did the drum to disc/drop conversion and now the brake hose off the caliper hits prematurely on the crossmember... is this normal? anyone have any pics of their setup? maybe we installed something incorrectly

Re: Need front disc pics
Hopefuly these will help ! It's a complete 72 disc setup bolted up to my 68 frame. Early Classic drop spindles, Brake lines are s/s hard tube and s/s braided line from Inline Tube. Brake calipers are OEM.
If you need another angle, just let me know and i'll run out to the shop and snap it !

Re: Need front disc pics
thanks guys... it looks like you both have them connected to the crossmember in different spots!! bowtie, your are connected in the front of the A-arm and 68... well, yours are in the same spot as mine, in the back of the A-arm... Will the hose pinch or get kinked when you turn the wheels all the way right/left?

Re: Need front disc pics
thanks for the pics guys. I am about to go through the same thing. Swapping 76 chevy discs on to my 67. My lines are behind like 68's I was worried I may have to get new lines. Looks like maybe not.

Re: Need front disc pics
Stock corssmembers from 71 and 72 had the brake line tabs in front, all 70 and earlier trucks had them behind.

Re: Need front disc pics
here are a few pics... these are the regular rally wheels 15x8 4 1/2" BS, with 265/70/15 tires. It looks good if its the rightside tire turned left or leftside tire turned right, hope that makes some sense
front left, turned hard left ![]() front left, turned hard left ![]() front right, turned hard left ![]()
