Windsheild is leaking, is there an easy fix ???

My 88 is leaking at the top enough to drip on the floor and get the headliner wet. It looks like there is enough space around it to squeeze someo sealer in there. I don't want goop all over but don't want to pull the glass either.

Any suggestions ??? Thanks.

Run tape on both sides of the gap and run a bead of Urethane windshield sealer into the gap (all the way along the top)
