Re: 16" 6 Lug Wheels..... For Sale

Can you tell me if the outside measurement is 6" or the inside the rim is 6"? I know some folks measure the outside which is technically not correct, I am interested to buy Erik

Wes, do you know what year these are - 71/72 or later K5/10 - or pre-71 C10/K10? Even if not, any idea if they clear 71/72 calipers since they are 16"? I assume these fit 1/2 ton caps? Thx!

Just a general FYI for anyone...other than the fact these wheels are long gone now. Both wheels are completely different The nubs-type is for drum brake and the other is an older clip type. These wheels were 5" inside bead to inside bead...the proper way to measure.

Jocko, I know this thread is old, but I'll add to the what Special said. The 3 nub 16 inch wheels were made for drum brakes.......but, they will absolutely clear disc's. I've only seen 5 inch wide versions with three nubs, but these wheels are so uncommon. Also, 1/2 ton caps fit perfectly. I know less about the 4 nub ones, but I know they were available in 6 inch widths.

Re: 16" 6 Lug Wheels..... For Sale

Thanks guys - I've always wondered if they clear disks on 71 and up trucks. Much appreciated. Not that I'll find any anytime soon, but good to know! Only have 3/4 tonners right now anyway, but the pc wheel collection tends to make me ready for "the next project" at a moment's notice... Ha.
